Develop relationships with the local Colleges and Universities in the city to employ 10 to 12 college interns each semester in the fields of Sales & Marketing, Media, and Event Promotions. It is the goal and vision of the VP of Operations to provide an untapped service for two underserved customers: 1) Any business looking to promote a product or service to the upwardly mobile African-American community, and 2) The young, professional African-American that seeks a one-stop shop to be informed, enlightened, educated and entertained. Assists clients of EBONetworks in paying balances owed and creates payment terms or arrangements when necessary.
Vice President of Planning – Responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical duties necessary to run an organization efficiently. This role includes planning and scheduling meetings and appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, managing projects, conducting research, and providing information via telephone, postal mail, and e-mail. This role aids executives by coordinating, analyzing, and improving office services. The administrative assistant works to establish procedures to simplify and improve reporting procedures, record keeping systems, forms control, office layout, or suggestion systems. Other responsibilities include replenishing any necessary office supplies, provide training and orientation for new staff, conduct research on the Internet, and operate and troubleshoot new office technologies. Performing and coordinating the office’s administrative activities contributes to the company’s organizational objective and helps to improve workflow.
Director of Marketing/Client Services – Manage the client services team and ensure the delivery of innovative, creative, and cutting edge strategies, as well as superior customer service for EBONetworks clients. The Director of Client Services is also responsible for guiding client assessment and strategy sessions for a wide range of clients. Day to day duties are scheduling appointments with prospective companies to build recruiting partnerships; maintain relationships with current affiliates and develop new ones; collect research and data on potential job seekers; create flowcharts of job hiring process; create a job tracking flowchart; work with web developer to maintain and build database for potential job seekers; update jobs on the website.
